Breastvest review and giveaway!

This is my second time breastfeeding and I have to say, there are elements I’m finding easier and some that are harder than the first time round but one thing is for sure – the Breastvest has made choosing clothes so much easier.

The first time I breastfed, I had about 6 breastfeeding tops on constant rotation and I have to say I was so bored of wearing the same thing over and over but I just didn’t have the money (or the desire) to spend lots of money on feeding tops. I tried wearing normal vest tops under my normal clothes but they were usually too tight or the straps didn’t give enough to get the bra unclipped and feed comfortably.

This time round, I’ve been lucky enough to try the Breastvest. The Breastvest is like a normal vest except it sits just under the bra meaning I feel fully covered on my tummy area but I’m easily able to unclip my bra to feed without the vest getting in the way at all.

The vest is really light, soft and comfy to wear. It really doesn’t feel like you are wearing additional layers which is perfect, especially in the summer months. I can wear it under most tops to turn them into feeding friendly tops which has made me more confident as I can wear what I like, not just what’s available.

I really love this product – it really is a genius idea. The only thing I would say is the straps are on the loose side so you will need to tighten them. It would also be great if the straps had a small hook or fabric loop which you could attach to your bar strap; because the top finishes under your bra, the straps attach under your armpit so you do see the straps if you are wearing a sleeveless top. A simple hook or loop addition to the top would make this perfect for me.

You can see what you think about the Breastvest too as we are giving you the chance to win one for yourself!
